GROUPE ADP Reports Significant Growth in Passenger Traffic for March and Q1 2024
GROUPE ADP announced an impressive increase in its traffic figures for March 2024 and the first quarter of the same year compared to 2023. In March, the group reported handling 26.5 million passengers, marking a 10.1% increase. Paris Aéroport, which includes both Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports, saw 8.0 million passengers, up by 7.7%.
The first quarter results were also positive, with GROUPE ADP serving 77.1 million passengers, an 11.3% rise from the previous year. Paris Aéroport accounted for 22.0 million of these passengers, showing a growth of 4.4%. However, these figures could have been higher if not for the scheduled trial of the 4-Flight air traffic management system, which reduced the flight schedule and passenger count significantly during early 2024.
The statistics also highlighted performance variances across different geographical sectors, with notable growth in regions such as TAV Airports and GMR Airports, reflecting robust recovery and expansion compared to 2019 levels.
