Exail Technologies wins major contract for drone systems

Exail Technologies, a subsidiary of Groupe Gorgé, has won a contract worth several hundred million euros to supply autonomous drone systems to an international navy. This success is the result of a call for tenders launched several years ago. This program promises to be transformative for Exail, both in terms of size and strategic positioning, thus consolidating its development strategy.

The drone systems, designed for underwater mine countermeasures, will include surface, underwater and aerial drones, integrated under Exail’s UMIS system. Delivery will be spread over a period of four years once the contract comes into force.

This contract will allow Exail to cross the symbolic threshold of one billion euros in terms of order book, thus multiplying its volume by ten over the past few years. With this new gain, the company is strengthening its competitive advantage with a success rate of over 90% in past calls for tender.
