ROUGIER Reveals Estimated 2025 Revenues
ROUGIER SA, a century-old leader in responsible African timber, has announced its estimated revenues for 2025, totaling €75.5 million. This figure marks a decline of 20.5% compared to 2024, primarily due to weakened global demand and low price levels. Additionally, external factors impacted several subsidiaries, particularly in Gabon and the Republic of Congo.
In Gabon, a temporary suspension of activities led to a 23.5% revenue decrease. Meanwhile, the Republic of Congo faced a 38.1% decline due to multiple production shutdowns caused by a diesel fuel shortage. Despite these challenges, trading sales have remained stable, supported by an expanded product range.
ROUGIER's key milestone was its Congolese subsidiary obtaining FSC® certification in September 2025, ensuring compliance with the European Deforestation Regulation. This strengthens the group's market positioning and supports its strategy for sustainable forest management.
