Growth acceleration for EPC Group in the fourth quarter of 2024

The EPC group, a leader in the explosives sector, recorded a growth of +6.3% in its activity in the fourth quarter of 2024. Over the whole year, activity increased by +3.2%, reaching 558.2 million euros, excluding the discontinued additives activity.

The Europe Mediterranean America zone posted a slight recovery of +1.0%, while the Africa Asia Pacific zone continued its progression with an increase of +9.4%. The Explosives and Drilling and Blasting sector contributed significantly to these results, consolidating 79% of total activity.

The Paris Olympic context temporarily impacted the Urban Mine, with a decrease of -6.8%. However, major projects, notably the Lyon-Turin tunnel construction site, are boosting activity.
