MWC26 Doha to Align with ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in 2026

The GSMA and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) announced that MWC26 Doha will occur alongside the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-26) in November 2026. This collaboration aims to unite leaders from government, international institutions, and industry in Doha for a month focusing on digital policy and connectivity showcases.

MWC26 Doha, supported by Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from November 8-10, 2026. PP-26, hosted by Qatar's Communications Regulatory Authority, will follow at the same location from November 9-27, 2026. The joint events align with Qatar's Digital Agenda 2030 and National Vision 2030, aiming to advance digital governance and connectivity priorities worldwide.

The GSMA's exhibition will be adjacent to PP-26, demonstrating the latest in connectivity and digital solutions. ITU, with 194 Member States and over 1,000 organizations, plays a vital role in coordinating global communication standards. The collaboration strengthens existing ties between GSMA and ITU, focusing on global connectivity and technological advancements.
