Guanajuato Silver Acquires Bolanitos Mine to Expand Mexican Operations

Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. (GSilver) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Bolanitos gold-silver mine from Endeavour Silver Corp. for up to $50 million. The transaction is expected to close in January 2026.

Bolanitos will become GSilver's fifth active precious metals mine in Mexico, complementing its existing portfolio of silver and gold mines. In 2024, Bolanitos produced over 2.47 million silver-equivalent ounces.

The acquisition aims to enhance GSilver’s resource base. Integration with nearby San Ignacio Mine is anticipated to improve the mine's economics. Additionally, the transaction includes Cebada mine and exploration potential at the Belen project.

James Anderson, CEO of GSilver, highlighted the strategic benefits of this acquisition in consolidating the Guanajuato Mining District and elevating GSilver’s position as a mid-tier producer.
