Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd Appoints New Non-Executive Directors

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. (LSE: GKP), a significant independent operator and producer in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, has announced the appointment of two non-executive directors, Catherine Krajicek and Marianne Daryabegui. Their appointments will take effect from 1 October 2024.

Catherine Krajicek brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Conoco, ConocoPhillips, and Marathon Oil. She has also served as a non-executive director at Cairn Energy plc. Marianne Daryabegui has a robust background in capital markets, with former roles at Total, BNP Paribas, and Natixis. She is currently head of M&A and capital market operations at the Arverne Group and serves as a non-executive director at EnQuest plc.

Interim Chair David Thomas welcomed the appointments, highlighting their experience in the oil and gas industry. He noted that their inclusion will help the company comply with the UK Corporate Governance Code and UK Listing Rules regarding board independence and diversity.
