Gulf Keystone Reports 2024 Government Payments

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd has published its 2024 report detailing payments to governments, as mandated by Disclosure and Transparency Rule 4.3A. The report, covering the year ending 31 December 2024, adheres to UK regulations, requiring UK-listed extractive industry companies to reveal government payments in operation countries.

All payments linked to the Shaikan Production Sharing Contract in Iraq's Kurdistan Region were made to the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Natural Resources. Production entitlements, representing the government's production share, and royalties were reported as in-kind payments, valued at $134,261,000 and $32,098,000 respectively.

Additional payments included $8,566,000 for licence fees and $218,000 for infrastructure improvements. These contributions supported local communities with initiatives like water projects, flood recovery, and education programs.
