Gungnir Discovers Gold Mineralization in Bedrock at Hemberget
Gungnir Resources Inc. (TSX-V:GUG, OTCPK:ASWRF) has identified gold in bedrock at its Hemberget project in Sweden's Vasterbotten District. Additional sample assays are pending.
CEO Jari Paakki highlights the advancement from surface discoveries to finding highly anomalous gold in outcrop samples. This disseminated mineralization is ideal for Induced Polarization (IP) geophysics to target higher-grade gold.
The new outcrop discovery shows similarities with previously identified mineralized boulders. First-pass outcrop sampling reported up to 0.74 g/t Au. Assays for additional samples are awaited.
The 100%-held project benefits from excellent road access, facilitating cost-efficient exploration. The Gold Line covers several significant gold deposits and unexplored areas, promising further opportunities for Gungnir.
