Hainan's Tourism and Culture Promoted in Paris at "Bonjour! Chine Soleil Hainan" Event

On March 8, Paris hosted the "Bonjour! Chine Soleil Hainan" event, presenting Hainan Province's tourism and culture through exhibitions and videos. Operational Director Wang Zhongyun introduced Hainan as a key international tourism location and China's largest free trade port. The event exhibited over 200 items, reflecting Hainan's unique cultural heritage and tropical charm.

Hainan recorded over 90 million visitors in 2023, with tourism revenue hitting new highs during the 2024 Spring Festival. The province is expanding its international outreach, with visa-free access for 59 countries and enhanced payment solutions for foreign tourists. The event also acknowledged plans to extend overseas flight routes and introduced the Hainan Coastal Scenic Highway, boasting accessibility to coastal cities and tourist attractions.

French artist Remy Aron, who attended the event, emphasized the role of Hainan and France in fostering a 21st-century civilization, particularly in this 60th anniversary year of diplomatic relations between France and China. The initiative reflects mutual interests in promoting cultural exchanges and tourism development.
