HHLA Announces Changes in Supervisory Board Leadership

Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) has announced significant changes in its Supervisory Board. Effective 1 October 2025, Marcus Vitt will assume the roles of member and Chairman, succeeding Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grube, who will step down on 30 September 2025. Marcus Vitt, noted for his expertise in finance, is anticipated to bring substantial value to HHLA.

Senator Dr. Andreas Dressel and Katharina Kriston will also join the Supervisory Board. Their appointments align with the nominations by the City of Hamburg, a major shareholder in HHLA. Meanwhile, current representatives Andreas Rieckhof and Dr. Sibylle Roggencamp will also leave their positions by the end of September.

HHLA’s Supervisory Board comprises 12 members, equally representing employees and shareholders. The City of Hamburg has the right to propose the Board Chair, reinforcing its influence over the company’s governance.
