Hannan Metals Identifies Major Anomaly at Sortilegio Project in Peru

Hannan Metals Limited has announced the discovery of a 1.2 km chargeability anomaly at the Sortilegio copper-gold prospect, part of its Valiente project in Peru. The anomaly stretches up to 500 meters below the surface, indicating potential for significant mineral deposits.

The Sortilegio site is within the expanding 9.3 km copper-gold district at Belen. It features a complex geophysical structure, explored through advanced IP surveys. Hannan has received approval for 13 drill platforms, with drilling expected to start in Q2 2025.

CEO Michael Hudson noted that this discovery marks a crucial milestone, with similarities to other global porphyry systems. The project strengthens Hannan's position in the Peruvian mining sector, with the potential to uncover substantial copper and gold resources.
