Hannan Metals Unveils 2.4 km Geophysical Anomaly in Peru
Hannan Metals Limited has identified a significant induced polarization (IP) anomaly at the Vista Alegre epithermal prospect within its Valiente copper-gold project in Peru. Spanning 2.4 km, the anomaly features high chargeability and low resistivity zones, suggesting mineralization linked to sulphide assemblages and argillic clay alteration. In addition, high resistivity zones coincide with silicified boulders containing minerals like chalcopyrite and pyrite, indicating epithermal-style mineralization.
The survey, conducted by GeoMad E.I.R.L, highlights multiple target types correlating with geochemical anomalies up to 500 meters below the surface. Drill platforms have been approved, and drilling is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2025.
The Vista Alegre site represents a crucial component of the Valiente Project, revealing a well-developed mineral system. This discovery bolsters Hannan’s exploration efforts in the region, emphasizing its potential for significant mineral deposits.
