Hapag-Lloyd AG Announces Executive Leadership Decisions

The Supervisory Board of Hapag-Lloyd AG has confirmed the continuation of Rolf Habben Jansen as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) until 31 March 2029, following an early contract renewal. Additionally, the contract for Donya-Florence Amer, fulfilling the roles of Chief Information Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer (CIO/CHRO), has been extended until 31 January 2030. These decisions come as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to maintain strategic leadership and facilitate growth.

Rolf Habben Jansen, who has served on the Executive Board since April 2014 and as CEO since July 2014, has been instrumental in the company's strategic development and international expansion. Michael Behrendt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, praised Jansen's tenure, emphasizing his role in navigating the company through challenging times and contributing to its success story. Donya-Florence Amer, appointed as CIO in February 2022 and taking on additional HR responsibilities in May 2022, has been acknowledged for her key contributions to the company’s digital transformation and HR initiatives.
