Haulotte Group Reports Decline in 2024 Q3 Sales
Haulotte Group announced a significant decline in its third-quarter 2024 sales. The company's quarterly revenue totaled €145 million, marking a 12% decrease from the previous year at constant exchange rates and excluding IAS29 adjustments. This downturn is part of a broader trend affecting the global aerial work platform market, which has been slowing down across multiple regions.
By the end of September 2024, Haulotte's year-to-date consolidated sales amounted to €509 million, down 10% from €568 million in the same period of 2023. Europe saw a 20% drop in sales due to a cautious stance among key rental operators. The Asia-Pacific region also experienced a 17% decrease, while sales in North America rose by 3%. Meanwhile, Latin America showed a 10% cumulative sales growth.
Looking ahead, Haulotte forecasts a near 10% decline in sales for the full year 2024. Despite these challenges, the group expects to maintain a current operating margin above 5%, excluding exchange impacts.
