Hydrogen of France: Half-yearly report and outlook
Hydrogène de France (HDF Energy) posted mixed results for the first half of 2025. Revenue stood at €410,000, down from the previous year. Consolidated net income showed a loss of €6.6 million, impacted by the dollar's decline. Advanced projects remain a priority, with notable progress in Barbados and Indonesia. However, the operational launch of certain initiatives is being hampered by the economic climate in France, although commercial prospecting is active.
In terms of investments, €4.7 million was spent on industrial development, while financial resources were used to support the construction of a plant and a share buyback program. Cash flow has shrunk to €29.2 million, requiring prudent management to achieve financial balance. HDF Energy's ambition remains to finalize its projects and successfully develop its business in the hydrogen sector, despite market uncertainties.
