Heliad AG Acquires Collective Ventures to Enhance Venture Capital Access

Heliad AG announced the acquisition of Collective Ventures to expand its venture capital offerings. Previously, Heliad AG shareholders could access its later-stage VC portfolio by purchasing shares. This merger will now enable earlier-stage investments for a wider range of investors.

Frankfurt-based Heliad AG, listed under the stock ticker A7A, aims to build a new generation venture capital firm. Collective Ventures, founded in 2021, has a track record of investing in 17 companies. The merger will allow investors to participate in venture deals based on personal preferences and skills.

The acquisition complements Heliad’s portfolio, which includes investments in firms like Raisin, Enpal, and Finn. Heliad's co-CEO Falk Schäfers emphasized the benefit of co-investing with fellow investors for optimal outcomes.

Collective Ventures co-founder Cecil Croy highlighted the importance of network and collective decision-making in successful ventures. He welcomed the partnership with Heliad AG to enhance the synergy between capital, investors, and founders.
