Helikon Investments Increases Stake in Dalata Hotel Group
Dalata Hotel Group PLC has announced a significant shift in its shareholder composition. London-based Helikon Investments Limited has increased its holdings in the company. The investment firm now holds over 14% of the voting rights through financial instruments. This marks a rise from the previous 13.1648%, as indicated in the company's recent notification.
Helikon's new position results from acquiring various cash-settled equity swaps set to expire between December 2024 and January 2027. In total, these instruments represent 14.2935% of voting rights attached to Dalata's shares. The specific equity swaps acquired number over 30 million voting rights, demonstrating Helikon's expanding influence in the company.
The change in holdings was officialized on October 31, 2024, and notified by Dalata on November 4, 2024. This development highlights Helikon Long Short Equity Fund Master ICAV as the main entity behind these moves, continuing its strategy of controlling significant equity interests.
