HIREP: Overseas Training Cultivates Talent, International Exchange Broadens Perspectives
The HIREP Center launched the "2024 High-level International Research and Exchange Program (HIREP)" on January 25 at Xiamen University Malaysia Campus. This initiative aims to enhance students' research skills, academic literacy, and innovative thinking, preparing them for a globalized world.
HIREP integrates high-quality global teaching resources, offering advanced courses in finance, artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, international relations, literature, journalism, and business management. Using a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach, the program fosters critical thinking, teamwork, structured communication, and interdisciplinary skills.
Guided by professors from top-ranked universities like Harvard and the University of Chicago, students receive mentorship on specialized research projects. They also engage in cultural exchanges with peers from prestigious institutions, broadening their global perspectives and competitiveness.
During their stay, students explored local historical and cultural landmarks in Malaysia, enriching their understanding of Southeast Asian culture. They combined theoretical studies with practical projects, laying a robust foundation for future research.
Preparations for the "2024 Summer High-level International Research and Exchange Program" are underway and will launch soon.
