Historic Hit Factory Collection Auction
The iconic Hit Factory Entertainment Collection is set for auction from November 13 to December 4, 2024. Organized by Eaton & Brennan Auctions in collaboration with University Archives, this unique event showcases an impressive array of music history artifacts. Derived from the personal archives of Danielle Germano, daughter of studio founder Ed Germano, the collection includes pieces of immense historical value.
Among the standout items is the Baldwin Studio Piano, used in recording sessions for albums like Eric Clapton’s "Layla" and the Allman Brothers' "Eat a Peach." It remains in full working condition and holds significant musical heritage.
The auction also features John Lennon’s historic "Final Session" archives, offering original test pressings of "Double Fantasy" and revealing details about his last recording sessions. Additionally, the event boasts the largest collection of RIAA Gold and Platinum Record Awards available for public bidding.
Collectors and enthusiasts have a rare opportunity to own a slice of history. The auction promises to be a landmark in music memorabilia sales.
