Holcim Plans Spin-off of North American Business in 2025
Holcim Group Services Ltd has announced plans for a complete separation of its North American business. This will occur through a 100% spin-off, with the new entity to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It will operate as a domestic issuer under SEC regulations, reporting in US GAAP. There is also a plan for an additional listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange to cater to European investors.
The spin-off requires approval from shareholders at Holcim's Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2025. The company aims to complete the process by the end of the first half of 2025, pending customary approvals.
