Holland Foundation Announces Third Center of Excellence in Partnership with Mass Eye and Ear
The Holland Foundation for Sight Restoration has entered a partnership with Mass Eye and Ear, renowned for its contribution to ophthalmology, to establish its third Center of Excellence in the United States. The center, based in Boston, will be directed by Dr. Thomas Dohlman and Dr. Jia Yin, both from Harvard Medical School. Their collaboration aims to advance innovative treatments for severe ocular surface disease.
Dr. Edward Holland, a pioneer in treating ocular diseases, emphasized that this partnership would widen access to critical care for patients suffering from severe conditions, enhancing the reach of the life-changing Cincinnati Protocol.
Mass Eye and Ear, part of the Mass General Brigham system, is another valuable partner, adding to the foundation's centers in Cincinnati and the University of California-Irvine. This expansion ensures broader patient access to specialized eye care across the U.S.
