Hoverfly Technologies Secures U.S. Army Program with Spectre Drone
Hoverfly Technologies announces securing the U.S. Army's Variable Height Antenna - Heavy (VHA-H) program with their Spectre Tethered Unmanned Aerial System (TeUAS). This notable contract follows successful validation and environmental tests. Spectre TeUAS, integral to the Integrated Tactical Network, stands out for exceptional payload compatibility and reliability. The program is part of the Nett Warrior initiative aiming to modernize tactical communications via robust unmanned drones capable of extended airborne operations.
Spectre is set to complement Hoverfly's Sentry TeUAS, already a part of the Army's VHA-L position. The Spectre TeUAS features increased payload capacity, optimized vehicle mounting, and an efficient lift system. Hoverfly's CEO, Steve Walters, emphasizes the system's innovation and reliability, designed to exceed challenging military demands.
