Huawei and Partners Unveil Wi-Fi 7 Advanced White Paper

Huawei, in collaboration with IEEE and industry leaders, released the Wi-Fi 7 Advanced Technology White Paper at the Huawei Network Summit 2025 held in Munich. This document outlines significant advancements in Wi-Fi 7, such as 80 MHz multi-AP networking and the integration of Wi-Fi communication with sensing technologies to enhance network speed, intelligence, and security.

The new technology aims to transform campus networks by incorporating communication, sensing, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Notable features include a tenfold increase in data rates and improved connectivity with intelligent Coordinated Scheduling and Spatial Reuse technology. Additionally, Wi-Fi sensing capabilities provide efficient energy management and 24/7 vital sign monitoring, while comprehensive security measures protect data and privacy.

Huawei plans to expand these innovations in Europe, supporting enterprise digital transformation with secure and high-efficiency campus networks.
