IBU-tec Lands Landmark Battery Sector Order

IBU-tec Advanced Materials AG has secured the largest order in its history within the battery sector, marking a milestone in its cooperation with a global automotive group. This order falls in the mid-single-digit million euro range and will majorly impact sales from 2025. In 2024, IBU-tec recorded approximately 13 million euros from battery sector sales and orders.

This major order is tied to the development and production of IBUvolt LFP 402 cathode material, essential for electromobility and energy storage. It pushes the total collaboration to double-digit million euro figures.

Ulrich Weitz, CPO of IBU-tec, highlighted this order as a testament to the company’s successful strategy in the battery domain, setting a premise for future engagements with automotive and cell producers.
