ICAIE Announces New Investigative Docuseries 'Illicit Economies of the Shadowverse'

The International Coalition Against Illicit Economies (ICAIE), led by former U.S. diplomat David M. Luna, has announced the launch of its upcoming docuseries, "Illicit Economies of the Shadowverse: The Dark Forces Shaping the Global Underworld.” The series is set to premiere in Fall 2024.

Partnering with futurist Sam Radocchia, the series uncovers hidden networks of illicit trade and criminalized economies impacting global markets, law, and democracy. These activities yield massive profits and contribute to chaos and instability worldwide.

Illicit trade kills thousands, causes billions in lost revenue, and threatens consumer safety. As of 2024, it is one of the world's top five economies, with annual revenues of $3-5 trillion. Criminal activities include trafficking in deadly substances, weapons, humans, and counterfeit goods.

David M. Luna emphasizes that these illicit economies carry tremendous human, economic, and societal costs. The series highlights the pervasive nature of these activities, affecting communities globally and disrupting markets.
