IFOLIO Announces 14 NIL Deals With Women Athletes in Four Sports

ATLANTA, GA – iFOLIO, recognized for its innovative approach in digital marketing, has unveiled 14 new NIL agreements with women athletes across four different NCAA sports, marking a significant initiative to support female athletes in volleyball, basketball, softball, and swimming. These deals were announced as part of the 2024 iFOLIO NIL Ambassador program, aimed at enhancing the personal branding of student-athletes.

Among the chosen NIL Ambassadors from Georgia Tech are notable athletes across varying years and sports, including sophomores Kara Dunn and Tonie Morgan in basketball, junior Kayla Blackshear, also in basketball, and Brionna Condon, a sophomore in softball. These athletes are set to participate in iFOLIO's program designed to offer them customizable digital portfolios to market their skills and achievements, aligning with both athletic and career aspirations.

The selected ambassadors were part of a signing-day ceremony at iFOLIO HQ on April 8, symbolizing their official commitment to the program. This move aims to not just spotlight women’s achievements in college sports but also to empower them to build meaningful connections within the community. Jean Marie Richardson, iFOLIO’s CEO and a female founder, expressed her enthusiasm for leveraging digital marketing to aid athletes in brand building and engaging with iFOLIO's social community.

Statistics from Opendorse highlight that only 34% of NIL deals involve women's sports, despite evidence suggesting women athletes might offer significant NIL value due to their higher rates of community engagement. iFOLIO’s initiative appears to be a step towards balancing this disparity and showcasing the potential of women athletes in the digital marketplace.
