Imerys Completes Acquisition of Chemviron's European Assets
Imerys has finalized the acquisition of Chemviron's European diatomite and perlite business. This business, which reported approximately €50 million in revenue in 2024, employs about 130 individuals. The acquisition enhances Imerys's presence in Europe, adding three valuable mining and industrial sites in France and Italy.
The acquisition expands Imerys's product portfolio, particularly in the filtration and life sciences sectors, which serve key markets such as food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. Imerys aims to deliver high-value solutions, leveraging its application expertise and technological know-how to enhance customer product performance.
