Implications of the restructuring of Casino on Carpinienne de Participations

The Paris Commercial Court approved the accelerated safeguard plans for Casino and its subsidiaries. Following this restructuring, Rallye will find itself with only 0.1% of Casino's capital, thus losing its control over the company. Rallye and its parent companies, faced with this loss of control, announced their intention to request the resolution of their safeguard plans and the opening of judicial liquidation proceedings.

This situation has direct repercussions on Carpinienne de Participations, whose main shareholder, Finatis, and its sole asset, Foncière Euris, are in the process of being liquidated by the courts. Carpinienne de Participations is therefore also forced to request the opening of a judicial liquidation procedure in the short term. This development marks a significant turning point for the company and its shareholders.
