Bulgin Unveils 6000 Series Hybrid Buccaneer Connectors for Enhanced Connectivity

Cambridge-based Bulgin, part of Infinite Electronics, has expanded its 6000 Series Buccaneer range, introducing hybrid connectors integrating power and signal functions in one rugged design. Aimed at compact devices like sensors and control systems, these connectors offer a streamlined solution without sacrificing durability.

The new hybrid connectors feature two central power contacts rated at 16 A and 3 A for signals, available in configurations of two, four, or six signal contacts. This integration reduces space requirements, removing the need for separate cable routing.

Mark Berry, VP of Product & Portfolio Management, highlights the seamless integration of high-current channels into a sealed interface, suitable for demanding environments. The connectors maintain the series' proven push/pull locking and are IP68-rated, ensuring reliability through rigorous environmental testing.

The connectors will be showcased at the electronica event in November, alongside other products catering to diverse industries like energy and automation.
