Asian Financial Forum Concludes Successfully in Hong Kong
The Asian Financial Forum (AFF) wrapped up its 19th edition with participation from over 4,000 global business leaders and officials. Held in Hong Kong and organized by the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the forum's theme was "Co-creating New Horizons Amid an Evolving Landscape". More than 150 speakers from around the world contributed to discussions focused on finance, innovation, and economic development.
A highlight was the new Global Business Summit, which emphasized finance's integration with key industries. Discussions centered on empowering businesses through finance, promoting mainland Chinese enterprises globally, and exploring foreign investments in the Mainland market.
Financial Secretary Paul Chan emphasized the strategic role of Hong Kong in connecting capital, markets, and talent. He highlighted plans to enhance the tech ecosystem by attracting global tech enterprises. The AFF also featured a series of plenary sessions and discussions on high-growth sectors like biomedicine, green energy, and artificial intelligence.
