Integrity Star Award: A New Benchmark in Sustainability Reporting
The Global ESG Monitor introduces the Integrity Star Award, marking a pivotal advancement in sustainability reporting. This award is the first of its kind to be based on the GEM AssayTM methodology, involving a detailed analysis of 4,000 variables to evaluate the quality of companies’ sustainability reports. With a focus on transparency, regulatory adherence, and contextual understanding, the award employs a diverse global team to conduct a thorough evaluation through a triple assessment process.
Both listed and privately managed companies are invited to submit their sustainability reports in English by June 30, 2024, targeting a broad spectrum of business scales. The evaluation criteria are aligned with several recognized standards, warranting a comprehensive assessment that reflects current expectations in sustainability reporting. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between companies’ reporting efforts and best practices, offering a transparent and objective measure of reporting quality.
An elaborate award ceremony is scheduled for September 12, 2024, during the Impact Challenger Days, where companies will be recognized across five categories. This event not only celebrates high-quality reporting but also facilitates the sharing of best practices among industry leaders. Moreover, every participating company receives detailed feedback through 11 dashboards, further supporting the improvement of their sustainability reporting.
