Intershop Achieves Positive Results in 2024's First Nine Months

Intershop Communications AG reported favorable financial results for the first nine months of 2024. The company announced a positive operating result (EBIT) of EUR 0.6 million, a significant improvement from last year's EUR -1.5 million. Revenues increased by 4% to reach EUR 29.7 million, driven largely by a 30% uplift in cloud revenues, which now contribute 51% of total revenues.

Despite these gains, the service business faced challenges due to complex large-scale projects. As a result, service revenues dropped by 32% to EUR 7.1 million. However, revenues from licenses and maintenance grew by 14%.

Gross profit increased 14% to EUR 13.9 million, with an expanded gross profit margin of 47%. The company's EBITDA rose to EUR 3.0 million, showing a notable improvement in profitability.

Intershop remains cautiously optimistic about reaching its full-year targets, citing a strong existing customer base and a promising new business pipeline.
