Irving Resources Reports Promising Drill Results at Yamagano Project
Irving Resources Inc. has announced notable high-grade gold results from its Yamagano Joint Venture in Kyushu, Japan. Drill hole 25SY-003 reveals potential extensions of mineralized veins to the east, bolstering prospects for further exploration. Noteworthy intercepts include 8.91 gpt Au over 0.9 m and 23.36 gpt Au over 1.0 m, suggesting a connection to existing vein systems.
The ongoing 26SY-001 drill test, the eastern-most to date, targets a deep resistive body. It is expected to reach 900 m depth by the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, potential drilling initiatives are being considered on the Shimadzu Mining Right, historically rich in gold mining prospects.
The findings underscore the promise of expanding the existing mineralized system. Further exploration is deemed crucial to assess the full potential of the area. The JV, involving Newmont Exploration, Sumitomo Corporation, and Irving, plans to continue developing the Yamagano site's rich history.
