ISCC Plus certifications pave the way for renewable plastics at Sartorius

Sartorius, a major player in life sciences, has obtained the first ISCC Plus certifications for its sites in Aubagne, France, and Stonehouse, UK. This certification enables the use of bio-circular raw materials, reducing dependence on fossil-based materials. Certified products include Ambr® bioreactor vessels, Vivaflow® filters, and Flexsafe® bags, which are integrated into existing processes through rigorous monitoring.

The certification reflects Sartorius's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. The company aims to be net-zero CO2 by 2045, with 100% of its electricity coming from renewable sources by 2030. This milestone is part of Sartorius's sustainability strategy, also supporting its customers' ecological transition.
