Ivica Krolo Joins Birkenstock as CFO

Birkenstock Holding plc has announced the appointment of Ivica Krolo as Chief Financial Officer, effective February 1, 2025. Krolo will succeed Dr. Erik Massmann, who is stepping down on January 31, 2025. Massmann will aid in the transition and will join Krolo to present the first fiscal quarter results on February 20, 2025.

Krolo brings over a decade of experience in finance, previously serving as Partner and CFO at EMH Partners. His expertise spans finance, tax, legal, and corporate administration. Krolo's background includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Mazars. He is also a certified German Tax Advisor and Public Auditor.

CEO Oliver Reichert expressed enthusiasm for Krolo's appointment, emphasizing his regulatory understanding and operational expertise as assets to Birkenstock's growth objectives. Reichert also acknowledged Massmann's contributions, notably during the company's IPO preparation. No changes to company goals or FY 2025 guidance are planned.
