JP Morgan exceeds the threshold of 5% of Ubisoft's capital
On July 18, 2024, UBISOFT ENTERTAINMENT announced that JP Morgan Chase & Co. indirectly crossed the threshold of 5% of the company's capital. This declaration follows an acquisition made on July 16, 2024.
JP Morgan now holds 6,387,542 shares representing 5.01% of the capital and 4.60% of the voting rights of Ubisoft. These shares are divided between JP Morgan Securities LLC and JP Morgan Securities plc.
Acquisitions include physically-settled call options, physically-settled put options and cash-settled equity swaps. Convertible bonds, exchangeable at any time, are also included in this crossing.
This operation was partially financed by an increase in the number of shares held by assimilation, thus consolidating JP Morgan's position in Ubisoft.
