Jungfrau Railway Group Reports Strong Financial Results for 2025
The Jungfrau Railway Group declared a significant achievement by posting its second-highest profit ever in 2025. The profit for the year stood at CHF 78.2 million, marking a 2.3% increase. This performance was buoyed by sustained high demand across core markets, with visitor numbers rising by 3.2%.
All segments, including Jungfraujoch, Experience Mountains, and Winter Sports, saw higher revenues per guest. Transport income surged by 5.3% to CHF 216.1 million, with the overall operating income climbing 3.7% to CHF 305.7 million.
The Board plans to propose a dividend increase to CHF 8.50 per share. Operating expenses grew by 4.3%, linked to personnel and energy costs. Despite these increases, EBITDA rose by 3.0% to CHF 138.4 million.
The Jungfraujoch attracted 1,056,600 visitors, with substantial contributions from Experience Mountains and Winter Sports segments. A notable investment of CHF 34.4 million was directed at tangible and intangible assets.
