Kering and L’Oréal Announce Strategic Alliance in Beauty and Wellness

On October 19, 2025, Kering and L’Oréal unveiled a strategic partnership in luxury beauty and wellness. This agreement includes L’Oréal's acquisition of the House of Creed and exclusive ventures in wellness and longevity. Kering's renowned luxury brands and L’Oréal's beauty expertise aim to drive growth and value in promising categories.

This deal grants L’Oréal 50-year licenses for Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Balenciaga fragrances, post a €4 billion transaction anticipated to close in early 2026. The partnership also includes a 50/50 joint venture focused on luxury, wellness, and longevity innovations.

Kering’s CEO, Luca de Meo, emphasized the alliance’s potential to expand fragrance and cosmetic scales for Kering's major Houses. L’Oréal’s CEO, Nicolas Hieronimus, praised the partnership as it enhances L’Oréal's luxury beauty portfolio.
