Kestrel Gold Inc. Updates on QCM Property Exploration
Kestrel Gold Inc. has shared updates on its QCM Property exploration in British Columbia, managed by Centerra Gold Inc. The 2026 surface exploration program focused on soil sampling and mapping, completing 784 of 1,011 Priority 1 samples despite challenging conditions, and collected 100 rock samples. Notably, intense Fe-carbonate and mariposite alteration was found near the historic Flagstaff showing, suggesting a potential extension of the mineralized zone.
The 2025 drill program included 9,110.5 meters in 36 holes, revealing a mineralized zone at the Main Zone with consistent grades between 0.5 and 0.8 g/t Au over significant widths. Similar results were found at the 14 Vein. Upcoming activities include assay results and further soil sampling planned for late 2026.
