Kingfisher Metals Corp. Acquires Ball Creek West Project
Kingfisher Metals Corp. has confirmed an agreement signed on December 4, 2024, to acquire the Ball Creek West (BAM) Project from P2 Gold Inc. The BAM Project, located in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, comprises 54 claims over 18,893 hectares. This acquisition expands Kingfisher's consolidated HWY 37 Project to 819 km², making it the largest project held by a non-producing company in the region.
The BAM Project boosts Kingfisher’s position with prospective sites for Cu-Au porphyry systems, specifically at Northmore, Mess Creek, and Hickman. The tenures are valid until 2032, allowing Kingfisher strategic exploration without immediate financial obligations. CEO Dustin Perry emphasized the benefits of systematic exploration combined with cutting-edge technologies like AI, enhancing the company's prospects amid increasing metal prices.
Financial terms include issuing shares valued at C$250,000 and a cash payment of C$1,000,000 to P2 Gold. The transaction awaits approval and is expected to close by February 28, 2025.
