KION Group Reports Strong Customer Demand in H1 2025 Amid Challenges
In the first half of 2025, KION Group saw a notable increase in customer demand, with order intake rising to €6.206 billion from €5.079 billion in the previous year. However, Group revenue slightly declined by 4.2% to €5.496 billion due to a lower order book at the start of the year. The adjusted EBIT decreased to €385 million, with a reduced margin of 7.0% compared to the previous 7.8%.
The Industrial Trucks & Services segment registered €4.028 billion in orders, while Supply Chain Solutions achieved a record order intake of €2.201 billion. Despite the overall revenue drop, significant growth in service business was observed, aiding profitability in Supply Chain Solutions with a nearly doubled adjusted EBIT.
Despite macroeconomic uncertainties, KION confirmed its 2025 outlook, emphasizing resilience in its supply chains globally. Free cash flow remained positive, though net income was negatively impacted by provisions for an announced efficiency program.
