Klondike Gold Expands Exploration at Lone Star Deposit
Klondike Gold Corp has reported new drilling results from its Klondike District Property near Dawson City, Yukon. Recent exploration, including two diamond drill holes, suggests the potential extension of the Lone Star Zone to the southeast. Hole LS22-492 revealed a broad interval of 0.29 g/t gold over 64.1 meters, while EC25-578 showed 5.16 g/t over a 1.0-meter intercept.
The exploratory drilling aims to expand on the existing 500-meter delineated surface length of the Lone Star Zone. Klondike Gold plans further drilling in 2026, with 8,000-10,000 meters planned to refine resource estimates. In corporate news, Brenda Nowak replaces Jasvir Kaloti as CFO. These developments mark a strategic move to deepen exploration and potentially enhance the gold resource base.
