Knaus Tabbert announces record growth for the 2023 fiscal year
Knaus Tabbert AG closed its 2023 fiscal year with a significant increase in its revenue, reaching 1.441 billion euros, representing a 37% increase compared to the previous year. This remarkable growth, the highest in the company's history, was supported by a multi-brand strategy for chassis and increased interest in recreational vehicles.
The sale of recreational vehicles reached a milestone with more than 30,000 units sold, a first for the group. The revenue from motorhomes and camper vans particularly benefited from this momentum, recording respective increases of 64.7% and 75.9%. This performance is the result of the high availability of chassis, a direct outcome of the multi-brand strategy adopted by the company.
Knaus Tabbert AG CEO, Wolfgang Speck, highlights the continued interest in caravanning and recreational vehicles offered by the group's five brands, also reflected in a consistently high order backlog, close to one billion euros at the end of the year. Financial forecasts for 2023 remain stable, with an expected adjusted EBITDA margin between 8.5% and 9.0%. The audited financial results for 2023 will be released on March 28, 2024.
