Clariane Completes Sale of Nine Real Estate Assets in Belgium
Paris, December 3, 2025 - Clariane has announced the completion of a significant real estate transaction in Belgium, selling a portfolio of nine nursing and care home properties to Care Property Invest. The assets, developed between 2010 and 2025, are located in Soignies, Heers, Lummen, Meldert, Diepenbeek, Heverlee, Halen, Lille, and Hoeselt, with operations managed by Korian Belgium.
Korian Belgium will continue to operate these facilities under a twenty-year lease agreement. The total value of the disposed assets is approximately €143 million, with Clariane's share, based on its 52.2% ownership, accounting for about €74 million. This move aligns with Clariane's strategy to actively manage its real estate portfolio, aiming to reduce debt and financial leverage following their asset disposal program completed last July.
