Holcim Acquires Majority Stake in Cementos Pacasmayo

Holcim is set to acquire a majority stake in Cementos Pacasmayo, a leading building materials producer in Peru. This move aligns with Holcim's NextGen Growth 2030 strategy, aiming to boost growth in Latin America's lucrative market. Cementos Pacasmayo, founded 67 years ago and listed on both Lima and New York Stock Exchanges, operates three cement plants with a 5 million ton annual capacity and 28 concrete plants.

Expected to close in the first half of 2026, the acquisition has an estimated transaction value of USD 1.5 billion. Holcim anticipates EBITDA synergies of USD 40 million within three years and expects it to be EPS and free cash flow accretive from year one. This acquisition follows previous strategic entries into Peru, such as acquiring Comacsa and Mixercon.
