Lagardère and LVMH Complete the Sale of Paris Match

Paris - October 1st, 2024. Lagardère and LVMH announced the completion of the sale of the weekly magazine Paris Match. The publication now joins the LVMH group.

This marks a new chapter for Paris Match, a prestigious French publication since March 25, 1949. Joining LVMH offers opportunities for innovation and growth in print and digital formats.

Arnaud Lagardère, CEO of Lagardère SA, expressed satisfaction with the transition. He highlighted Paris Match's significant role in the group's history and conveyed confidence in LVMH's future stewardship.

Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, welcomed Paris Match as an iconic brand. He emphasized its global influence and expected accelerated development, especially in digital.

Jean-Jacques Guiony, CFO of LVMH, will chair Paris Match, with Pierre-Emmanuel Ferrand as Managing Director and Jérôme Béglé continuing as Editorial Director.
