Lagardère SA Announces Share Buyback and Suspension of Liquidity Agreement
Lagardère SA, a major French corporation, has entered into a contract to buy back up to 400,000 of its own shares. This initiative forms part of a share buyback program agreed upon by shareholders during the Annual General Meeting held on April 25, 2024. The buybacks are intended to support the company's performance and free share plans and will occur between April 29, 2024, and September 13, 2024.
In addition, the company reported the suspension of its liquidity agreement with BNP Paribas Financial Markets as of April 22, 2024. Prior to the suspension, the liquidity account held 21,916 shares and €595,851 in funds. This action follows the recent regulatory update published on April 26, 2024.
