Lahontan Gold Corp Mobilizes Drill Rig to Santa Fe Mine Project

Lahontan Gold Corp (TSXV:LG)(OTCQB:LGCXF) has mobilized a reverse-circulation drill rig to its Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada's Walker Lane. The track-mounted MPD-1500 rig will start drilling in the Slab open pit target area, part of a 3,000-meter drill program. This initiative aims to expand the project's Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and support a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) scheduled for later this year.

CEO Kimberly Ann noted that the arrival of the drilling equipment accelerates the MRE update. The engineering team has commenced scoping studies on costing and equipment sizing. The company plans to provide updates on drilling results, permitting, and the PEA in the months ahead.
