LANSON-BCC Group Reports 2024 Earnings Decline Amid Market Challenges

The LANSON-BCC Group, a Champagne industry leader, has announced a challenging fiscal year 2024. Revenues dropped by 6.0% to €255.4 million, largely due to a decrease in shipment volumes despite a more favorable price-product mix. Income from ordinary operations fell by 21.7% to €46.0 million. This decline is attributed to rising costs, particularly for grapes, and increased financing expenses related to stock aging.
Net income decreased by 35.2%, totaling €23.8 million or €3.53 per share. In light of these results, a proposed dividend of €0.90 per share will be presented at the upcoming General Meeting. The Group's strategy focuses on enhancing value amid cost pressures on grapes and stock financing, aiming for stability in 2026.
